Free or cheap gardening project 2012
having just moved house i started thinking, food for free!
This is my beginners journey into the world or growing!
Danish oiled fork I got this from freegle just as I started my gardening project and today after a good sanding I gave it a coat of danish oil, which has done wonders, the handle looks new. A few more coats and I can buff it to a shine just before it gets dirty again. I’ve just put a coat on my pilgrim staff too so its looking lovely.
I will also sand down the other wooden tools that I got on freegle, as i want to keep them in good condition, just because they were free doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be well looked after.
