Danish oiled fork I got this from freegle just as I started my gardening project and today after a good sanding I gave it a coat of danish oil, which has done wonders, the handle looks new. A few more coats and I can buff it to a shine just before it gets dirty again. I’ve just put a coat on my pilgrim staff too so its looking lovely.
I will also sand down the other wooden tools that I got on freegle, as i want to keep them in good condition, just because they were free doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be well looked after.

gloves
It was quite a nice day today not the kind of beach day but still bright and good for gardening. having to cut myself quite a lot and scratch myself on rose bushes I decided to invest in a pair of gardening gloves. £1.50 from wilkinsons, and the fit my large hands rather well.

potting shed and work area.
my garden workspace,its been used a lot recently as so far this summer, we have had rain more days than the sun, which is playing merry havock with the veg. So I’ve been working on my pilgrim staffs in the background, and a few other normally winter activitys.
